What’s going on in the building?

Interested in playing lacrosse?  Registration for boys Beavercreek Lacrosse teams are now open.  You can pick up a flyer in the Student Hub!

Sign ups are live for the next BUDS event, February 28th at Decoy Art. The deadline to sign up is January 31st. No sign ups after the 31st will be accepted. The link is live on the remind app and the BUDS website at sites.google.com/beavercreek.k12.oh.us/buds.

Are you interested in College Credit Plus for next school year? If yes, students and parents must attend a mandatory meeting in order to be eligible. Ohio’s College Credit Plus can help students earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges, universities, or even in-house at Beavercreek High School. There a several upcoming meetings and all are held in the BHS Auditorium.

EVENING MEETINGS: January 23, 2019 @ 6:00 pm and Thursday, January 24, 2019 @ 6:00 pm

MORNING MEETING: Thursday, January 24, 2019 @ 8:00 am

7th and 8th graders -- Are you interested in running track, playing softball or baseball?

The seasons will begin in February. Make sure that you have your sports participation physical current and that you have your sport chosen on your Final Forms account. For more information--keep checking the district athletics website at GoCreek.org.

Softball Open Gyms will be held at Coy middle school in the cardio room from 4-6 every Tuesday and Thursday.  We will be meeting again on Tuesday, January 22nd.

Interested in science fair? See your science teacher for a form.  Forms are due by Friday, January 18th and the fair is on February 5, 2019. See you there.

It is that time again! Start bringing in those Box Tops for the final contest of this year! The 4th period class that collects the most Box Tops will win an awesome pizza party courtesy of the Coy PTO! The deadline is Friday, February 15. Be sure your Box Tops are not expired! Let Mrs. Shirley know if you have any questions!!

Who has the kindest Flex? Bring your quarters to help the patrons of Bridges of Hope! The Flex class that collects the most quarters will win a cookie party.

Congratulations to our 7th grade girls basketball Orange team who defeated Centerville last night with a score of 27-11.

Shout out to Chloe Burnett, Lola Retter, and Alexis McAnich! They were chosen to participate in the Ohio State University Middle School Honor Band on February 16th in Columbus. Congratulations girls!

What’s going on in the building?
 
Students, we have noticed that there are several lockers around the building that do not have locks on them. Please make sure that your locker is locked throughout the day and before and after school. All lockers without a lock on them will be secured with a school lock by the end of the day on Wednesday.

Starting TODAY January 15th, Softball Open Gyms will be held at Coy middle school in the cardio room from 4-6 every Tuesday and Thursday.  Softball equipment is not needed the first day, just workout clothes and gym shoes.

Congrats to Eli Baranowski and Abbey Stamper for their outstanding performances in the Muse Machine’s production of Mamma Mia at Victoria Theater!

This weekend, at the Beavercreek Midwest Show Choir Invitational, Parker Gaines won Best Performer in the Entourage Show Choir.  Way to go Parker!
