Andrea Ferguson, Principal
I currently reside in Fairborn with my husband of 15 years, and daughters, Haley (age 13) and Kinsley (age 4). We spend our free time traveling the country with our 13 year old who plays fast pitch softball. My hobbies include sports, both playing and cheering on my favorite teams, crafting, DIY projects, and spending time with my friends and family.
I have more than a decade of experience working in the middle school and am truly passionate about education and advocating for my students. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Middle Childhood Education as well as my Master’s in Educational Leadership from Wright State University. I am a lifelong learner who is constantly researching ways to make learning more meaningful for students. I am currently working on my superintendent’s license through the University of Dayton.
Middle school is a wonderful time of transition where students are becoming young adults, beginning to think for themselves, and make decisions that will impact their futures. Despite what some middle school students may say or how they may act, they still need us, the adults in their lives, to support and empower them to be the best they can possibly be.
